Because of its small size and light weight, the Spinnenkran can complete small-load lifting work outdoors, indoors, and on the roof. It can hoist building materials from the ground and replace larger cranes or some tower cranes. This can shorten the construction period and reduce costs.

Even in tight spaces, the spider crane can play an important role with its four supporting legs. By making full use of the effective working radius, you can work in a limited space to avoid obstacles (such as power lines), and you can also achieve safe lifting work. It is most suitable for working in narrow locations that cannot be accessed by larger cranes. Also, spider cranes can be placed on roofs and lift materials from the ground.
